PRIVACY

Simple measurement, limited data.

Shockwave measures whether event pages help travelers reach Expedia or Vrbo. We do not collect payment or booking details.

What we collect

When you visit an event page, we record a first-party session identifier, the event page, stay type, general device category, referral information, and campaign parameters such as UTM values or a Google click identifier when present. When you follow one of our partner links, we record the CTA placement and whether that session produced an outbound click.

How it is used

We use this information to calculate landing-page click-through rates, compare page placements, prevent repeated actions from inflating unique metrics, troubleshoot the service, and improve event selection. The session cookie lasts approximately 30 minutes. Shockwave does not persist your IP address in its landing-performance records.

Bookings and third parties

Hotel, vacation-rental, and flight searches, accounts, payments, and bookings are handled by Expedia, Vrbo, and participating travel providers under their own privacy terms. Event information may come from Ticketmaster or an official event source. Following an external link takes you to that provider.

Information you provide

If you use the contact form, we store your message and any email address you choose to provide so the operator can respond. We retain operational and measurement records only as needed to run and evaluate the service.

Your choices

You may block or clear the first-party session cookie in your browser. Use the contact page for a privacy question or a request concerning information you submitted.
